Phoenix

In the untold night, burnt and broken
Ashes for words, Hardly outspoken
My solitude erasures, a silent token
Ruptured bursts, fiery crimson desire
A risen spirit, an embodiment of fire
I am the Ashen Phoenix

  5. Hi Ash!

Thanks for commenting back. I definitely remember this poem and love it as equally as I did last month. :)

I'm very enthused to hear you enjoyed the first chapter of Falling Into Yesterday! I'm hoping to get it published someday.

    Hope you're doing well!

    Cheers,

  8. Wrote this when I was fourteen -

    Eerie bleerie summer night,
    unknown fear - I fight.

    Whispering tree and scraping leaf,
    passed cat claw beneath.

    Foreign beer in my hands,
    casual attention it demands.

Cradled it rolls down the throat,
warms me like an old coat.

    Morning dreams begin to call,
    subconcious fantasys enthralled.

    Reality wishes what is right,
    Eerie bleerie summer night.

    ...

    P.S. No longer on GW?
